Claire Perry came to visit the school today and was interviewed by the school council. Some of their questions produced very enlightening answers. Here are some of the questions and their responses

1 – Who is your favourite Prime minister? Of all time my favourite is Benjamin Disraeli who was an inspiring man. I am also very lucky to be working for a great female Prime Minister now in Theresa May who is doing a great job under difficult circumstances.

2 – What would you do on a day off? If I had a day off I would love to go shopping for my family. I have 3 children and I need to buy them presents…. I would go shopping in Marlborough and Devizes as they have great local shops to visit.

3 – How many problems have you solved? Wow! I have never been asked that before. I would say thousands in total. There are very different problem types though, some are enormous like Climate Change and need a whole group of people to work together to solve whilst others are for individual constituency members and are much easier to solve. What I really enjoy doing though is helping people by solving their problems.
