Kingfisher and ARK

ARK (Anna and Sean) visited Kingfisher today to show us some of the invertebrates that can be found in the River Kennet. We spent an hour looking into trays of water to try and name and classify different invertebrates. An invertebrate is an animal without a back bone. These animals are what our trout will feed on when we release them back into the river Kennet in March.

It was lots of fun and we learned a lot of fascinating things.
