Braeside 2019

We had a fantastic bonfire last night. We toasted marshmallows, sang songs and had a talent show. We are planning a fun packed morning and will be leaving Braeside at 2.30pm. See you at 3.15 pm normal pickup time.

We all had a good nights sleep and the children have eaten breakfast We are heading out on our walk today so hoping the weather clears up a bit. More news and photos to follow this evening when we return

We have returned from our epic six mile hike taking in the spectacular scenery from Roundway Down Hill Fort. The children all joined in the activity with great enthusiasm. We learnt how to use our compasses and find our bearings. We re-enacted the battle of Roundway Down and then had great fun sliding down the steep hill. The children are enjoying a bonfire this evening singing songs and toasting marshmallows.

We have had an amazing fun packed day full of challenges. We started off this morning with a canal walk which included a quiz. We enjoyed our picnic lunch by the canal in the sunshine. Then it was back to Braeside for an afternoon of activities including the climbing wall, short ropes and team building challenges. The children have enjoyed their dinner and are now taking part in an orienteering exercise. Lets hope they sleep well! More news and photos tomorrow.
