Marlborough St Mary’s pupils have produced an exhibition of work which is on display in the Town Hall as part of the Literacy Festival. The exhibition highlights the plight of refugees and the work of Save the Children.
The children explored Marlborough’s link with Eglantyne Jebb who founded Save the Children one hundred years ago and who taught in St Peter’s School from 1899 to 1890.
The children based their work on Sarah Garland’s novel, ‘Azzi in Between’ and were visited by member of the Save the Children.
