In Term 6 of the last academic year, Simon from the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, visited the school and taught each class crucial skills on how to save a life.
The children learnt chest compressions to the tunes of ‘Baby Shark’ and ‘Staying Alive’.
After the success of his visit, the pupils of Marlborough St Mary’s were invited to help raise join in the ‘Mile for Mile’ fundraiser over the summer.
As a school, we managed to raise another whopping £500!
Special thanks to the following children for being our top fundraisers:
Charlotte Smith -Year 1
Indiana Vallance -Year 1
Matthew Barry – Acorn
Reece Ford – Year 3
Harry Wakeham – Year 3
Ollie Thomas – Year 4
Lacey Ford – Year 5
Henry Thomas -Year 6
We look forward to welcoming Simon back again in June next year to continue to build our knowledge and lifesaving skills.
