Who are we?
We are a group of parents/carers with children at Marlborough St Mary’s who raise money to enhance the experience of the children attending our school. We share the belief that our school is an amazing school at the heart of our community in Marlborough. We want the best for our children so we work closely with the school to examine areas where we can assist with funding items or experiences the school is unable to provide in these times of reduced budgets!
Communication
We send information out in a number of ways – termly Newsletters, notes in bookbags, ParentMail and increasingly on Facebook. We have a closed group there, and find it the quickest way of communicating with parents and carers – particularly when we are looking for volunteers! If you are not already a member, please let us know and we will add you to the group.
How you can help!
Becoming a Friend is a fantastic way to get to know other people, get involved, make friends and most importantly, is a great way for YOU to make a real contribution to YOUR child’s school. We always welcome ideas, suggestions and feedback, and we are always looking for helpers and volunteers. If you are interested in helping in some way, however small, please take a minute to complete the attached form and return it to the school office, or a member of the Friends or Email friends.msm@yahoo.com
