Dance Festival 2017: Y3 – Y6
This year’s dance festival is being held on Saturday 18th March. We are able to offer 16 places in the festival. As demand for places will be high, we will be giving priority to those who did not participate last year (either in KS1 or KS2) and to pupils in Y5 and 6. If the number of children who meet the above criteria want to take part exceeds our limit, places will be allocated by being drawn at random.
It is essential that pupils who get a place attend all practices, rehearsals and performances.
Rehearsal dates will run from 3.20 – 4.30pm on the following dates:
Monday 6th February
Thursday 9th February
Thursday 23th February
Monday 27th February
Monday 6th March
Monday 13th March
There will be a dress rehearsal on Friday 17th March 12.30 -5.30pm and 2 performances on Saturday 18th March at 3.30pm and 6pm.
The cost of attending the dance club and the festival will be £12 payable via parent pay when places have been allocated. There is likely to also be a cost in providing costumes but this will be confirmed once the club begins.
If your child would like to take part, please complete the slip and return it to the office by Wednesday 25th January. We will inform you whether your child has a place by the 27th January and payment must be made by the 31st January or your place will be allocated to someone else.
