Earlier this term, the year three children discovered an unusual golden, scaly egg nestled in the garden next to the classrooms. Unsurprisingly, there was lots of speculation about what might have happened, and the children looked for clues to help them discover more. Throughout the term, they have been writing newspaper reports, interviewing dragon experts and writing enchanted stories using the egg as a stimulus. These unusual sightings have enthralled and inspired the children, who have worked hard to produce some excellent writing.
