Braeside Assembly and Photos

Braeside Assembly

We really enjoyed our time at Braeside and over the last two weeks we have created a script in English which then used to create our movie. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Today was the day of the big wal!. After a good nights sleep the children enjoyed their breakfast and then had a lesson in using a compass. We then set off for Roundway Hill. All the children rose to the challenge and climbed all the way up to the top. We then  had to navigate our way back down the very steep slope with most of us sliding down the hill on our bottoms!

We are so impressed with all the children who have embraced their time at Braeside and it is wonderful to see them all working as a team and really enjoying spending time with each other.

They have had their evening meal and we are just about to go and sit round the campfire and toast marshmallows.

More updates and photos to follow tomorrow.

Just a quick update this evening to let you all know that we have had the most amazing day today at Braeside. We had an fascinating walk down to Caen Locks and found out loads of interesting facts about the Kennet and Avon canal and how the locks were designed. Then we had a picnic lunch in the sunshine before heading back to Braeside for an afternoon of activities including problem solving, climbing wall and low ropes. The children are settled into their accommodation and are about to have their evening meal . More updates and photos to follow tomorrow.
