Inspection
Our school is routinely inspected to ensure we are providing the very best educational experience for our children. We have an excellent relationship with the Local Authority and our School Improvement Partner (Louise Norris) visits the school every term to help drive our school improvement journey.
Every few years, the school is also more formally inspected. These inspections are carried out by OFSTED and SIAMs. OFSTED focuses on the quality of education and SIAMs is the inspection led by the Church of England. The school has positive reports from both agencies, and they are available via the hyperlinks at the base of the page. A summary of our recent OFSTED (January 2025) is available below:
🌟 Exceptional Ofsted Report! 🌟
We are absolutely delighted to share the highlights of our recent Ofsted inspection! The inspector described the report as exceptional, and the key findings speak for themselves.
✅ "Pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), flourish at this welcoming and inclusive school."
✅ "Their behaviour is exemplary. Pupils are polite and well-mannered. They show high levels of care and consideration for each other."
✅ "Reading is at the heart of the curriculum... Pupils quickly gain the knowledge and skills they need to become confident, fluent readers."
✅ "The school maintains a relentless commitment to ensuring the very best for pupils and families."
The inspector noted that our curriculum is ambitious, with pupils eager to share and remember their learning, and that our provision for personal development is exceptional, with rich opportunities for social, moral, spiritual, and cultural growth.
While this was an ungraded inspection, Ofsted found that the school's work had improved significantly across all areas since the last visit. This means that in a full inspection, all areas would be judged as Outstanding!
A huge thank you to my wonderful staff, pupils, and families (and dog) for making our school such an incredible place! 💙✨
