At Marlborough St Mary's, we have a hard-working and passionate eco council who meet weekly to work on ways to make the school and beyond more environmentally friendly.  We were thrilled to be awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag Award earlier this year in recognition of all our hard work.

In addition to this, we won the Wiltshire Schools Eco Week Primary School Category.  They said:

You produced a brilliant range of initiatives and ideas for the future, which are great contributions to becoming more eco-friendly. It was particularly great to see that you have auditing in place so that the long-term impact of your projects can be measured. We really enjoyed hearing about the fabulous bug hotel, and we loved the idea of sponsoring a polar bear!
