School Council

Welcome to Marlborough St Mary's School Council.

Our elections have taken place and this year's school councillors are already working hard to help the school.

We have surveyed our classes to help Mrs Pratt to decide what new equipment to buy for the playground.

We surveyed our classes for ideas for an end of term treat for the winning house. Then we planned and delivered the treat! There were tasty Christmas treats for all the children in the winning houses.  The winning house had a non uniform day in February and an exciting Duck Hunt for the latest reward! 🐤

A group of School Councillors prepared a presentation for the KS2 children to encourage sensible use of the toilets. We have put up posters to remind everyone how to look after the toilets.

Some of the councillors recorded a podcast at the end of this term.

Some councillors met with Mr Crossman and a local business owner to discuss how the business can help us in school.

Future plans - fundraising for resources for quiet areas for KS1 and KS2 playgrounds.

We now have a notice board.  On it, there will be a suggestion box for everyone to use if they have a suggestion for us.
